Kindness is like a natural anti depressant because it causes a release of serotonin in our brain
You will feel great about yourself
You will have smiles and make smiles all round
According to Dr. David R. Hamilton, acts of kindness create an emotional warmth, which releases a happy, loving hormone.
Oxytocin causes the release of a chemical called nitric oxide, which dilates the blood vessels. This reduces blood pressure and, therefore, oxytocin is known as a “cardioprotective” hormone. It protects the heart by lowering blood pressure." Dr David Hamilton
Try to incorporate at least 3 random acts of kindness into your day.
Capture a few moments in your day where you have practised a random act of kindness. Also ways this kindness has returned to you.
